Mr Thapelo Kharametsane
holds an LLB Degree and a Legislative Drafting Certificate, both from the University of Pretoria. He has over 13 years of experience in dealing with different kinds of legal matters in both the public and private sector. He previously acted as one of the National Negotiators of SAPU in the Safety and Security Sectorial Bargaining Council (SSSBC). He took part in the negotiations of improved employment conditions on behalf of the members of the South African Police Service (SAPS), the drafting of the Sexual Harassment Policy, and various other policies.

He represented Mr. Motale who was at the time employed as Editor of The Citizen Newspaper. The employer had terminated his employment contract without affording Mr. Motale a disciplinary hearing and Mr. Kharametsane was successful in an urgent application to reverse such unlawful termination.
MJ Ramonetha v Department of Roads and Transport: Limpopo
This case is significant as the Labour Appeal Court provides clarity on the applicability of the deemed dismissal provisions of Section 17(3)(a) of the Public Service Act.
City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality v Nambiti Technologies
This case is of great significance as the Supreme Court of Appeal held that the cancellation of a tender process by the Municipality did not constitute an administrative action as contemplated in the Promotion of Administrative Justice Act (PAJA).

Mr. Kharametsane is assisting the former employees of Ndalo Media (Pty) Ltd with their claims against the insolvent estate of their former employer.
Naasei Appiah v Cricket South Africa
Mr. Kharametsane has succesfully defended the Chief Operations Officer of Cricket South Africa, Mr. Naasei Appiah, in a disciplinary hearing instituted against him by his employer, Cricket South Africa.
